Two versions of a document listing guidelines for missionaries. The May 25, 1747 version offers 24 precepts, while the June 25, 1747 version gives 13, followed by a copy of a 1737 letter by Juan Antonio de Oviedo. The rules ban cardplaying, gambling, allowing women to live in the missionaries' houses, trading in gems and seeking information on mines. The missionaries were also to give approriate sums to charity and submit all letters to high officials to the Father Rector for inspection.
